Less than a week to go!

Believe it or not, the race is less than a week away - how has it come around so quickly! Trying to squeeze in last minute training with night shifts this week is proving to be a little difficult, but I'm sure I can fit a couple of runs in between now and the race. Training hasn't been easy, and at times I have thought about giving up and pulling out if the race, but what has kept me going is the knowledge that these most vulnerable and poorest families and children cannot give up, and they grasp onto the hope that one day things will get better for them; they hold onto the love and word of God and that sustains them through their darkest days. These amazing people have set a precedent for me, I must not give up, I must keep pushing on, and that nothing is impossible with God. He is our saviour, our rock and our keeper and that if we put our trust in him, he will provide.  I want to thank everybody who has shared their kind words of support to me over the past couple of wee...

Date change!

There has been a change of date for my 10K Run! The event organisers have postponed the race for a week due to other events happening around the Olympic Park.  Therefore the new date for the run is now Saturday 1st July 2017 - at least it gives me another week of training! (28 days to go!!)
